Diane M. Anderson BSN, RN started a career in hemodialysis in 1992 working in an outpatient dialysis clinic as a dialysis technician in Ruston, Louisiana. At that time, she was taking undergraduate courses for nursing school and later moved to Kansas City, Kansas and graduated with an Associates of Science Degree in Nursing in 1999. Diane worked as staff RN in an outpatient dialysis clinic and later was a charge nurse for 10 years. She has worked as nurse manager and later began working in inpatient acute dialysis.
Her journey in end-stage renal disease has never ended, and began as a Dialysis Access Coordinator in 2011 at Saint Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City Missouri. Working alongside two kidney transplant surgeons, Diane helped start a dialysis access program. She worked as a dialysis access coordinator for five years before moving to Dallas, Texas to start a program at Medical City Dallas. Diane loves working with endstage renal disease patients from newly diagnosed kidney failure to post kidney transplant.
